Board Accomplishments

  • Academic Excellence

In keeping with Stephanie’s highest priority as a board member, Noblesville Schools has thrived academically the past 4 years. The district ranks in the top 1% nationally for STEM education, they are a top school district for music education, rank in the top 5% for SAT scores and are in the top 10% for Ilearn. The district offers over 100 AP and dual credit courses to help save parents thousands in college expenses. With a 98% graduation rate and millions of dollars awarded in college scholarships. Noblesville Schools continues to set the bar for academic success.

  • Facility Improvements

Stephanie has voted “yes” to various facility improvements to maintain small class sizes, improve energy savings and perform regular much needed maintenance. A new Career and Technical Education wing will give students the real-world skills they need to be successful in their future careers. An athletic field house, wrestling room and expanded space for performing arts will contribute to students’ sense of belonging and keep the district competitive with no increase to the tax rate or the use of referendum funds.

  • Fiscal Responsibility

Stephanie has been committed to fiscal responsibility and being a good steward of the Noblesville community’s tax dollars. During her time on the board, the school tax rate has been lowered each year, and a long-range plan has been developed and implemented that maintains safe and efficient facilities while minimizing the impact on taxpayers. She has also helped maintain a balanced school budget, and overseen a consistent increase in the district’s bond rating.

  • Enhanced Transparency and Parent Communication

With Stephanie’s support, curriculum and supplemental materials that are used in the classroom were added to the Noblesville Schools website. “In the Know” a monthly digital communication newsletter was launched and is available to all Noblesville residents. Also, an additional public comment section-that does not have to pertain to any particular agenda item-was added to monthly board meetings.

  • Recruiting and Retaining Strong Teachers and Staff

In 2022, Stephanie was responsible for helping to recruit and hire a new award-winning superintendent to the district. She has also worked to give the largest salary increases to educators in Noblesville Schools history. She has supported a teacher mentor program, employee recognitions, culture building and stay interviews. Stephanie understands that having the best educators and support staff are important to best serve students.

  • Professional Development Awards

During her tenure on the board, Stephanie has been recognized by the Indiana School Boards Association for her ongoing commitment to excellence in public service with the Advanced Level Exemplary Governance award. The distinction requires evidence of commitment to student achievement, continuous improvement, strategic planning, policy review and accountability.
